AI Psychosis + Shitty Parenting (Cause those things go together?!)

Episode 12 begins with AI psychosis… and ends with toddler meltdowns. Because that’s how we do things here.

This episode is what happens when two people spiral into deep philosophical despair about synthetic spirituality, algorithmic delusion, and the death of discipline… and then tell parenting stories.

Abmari asks AI if it’s accidentally creating a cult of delusional spiritual advisors. The AI says: “You’re not wrong.”

Jill watches a mom in a park tell her screaming toddler that “her feelings matter” and internally combusts.

There’s no resolution. Only questions. And potentially some t-shirts in the making.

Here’s what this beautiful mess is trying to teach us (besides the fact that “AI AF” is a trademark-worthy phrase):

  1. AI is not God. It's just a mirror. And if you’re not careful, it becomes a mask. It reflects back whatever frequency you bring — clarity or psychosis. It will tell you EXACTLY what you want to hear. Insight is not healing. Output is not integration.

  2. Your feelings are real. But they’re not always relevant. Emotional validation without structure is a dangerous game — especially when you’re three years old. Teach respect first. Process feelings later.

  3. You can’t heal what you refuse to sit with. Whether it’s your trauma, your child’s tantrum, or your projection onto a robot — nothing evolves if it’s bypassed. Discomfort is not a sign you’re doing it wrong. It’s often the portal.

  4. We are all shitty parents in some way. Whether you coddle too much or not enough, whether you had to raise yourself or were bubble-wrapped through life — you will be unpacked later. Good news? The unpacking is where your character is built.

It’s spicy. It’s messy. It might offend everyone. But it’s real. And that’s what matters. Check out the whole episode here.
